UNTIL NOW Until now I looked outside, to reflect within – Until now I listened far and wide: and people got under my skin. Until now I shed no tear – professing no fear no pain no gain – no fear? Until now from shadow I projected apparent light- inner child constipated and uptight: Until now I felt righteously alone - a way for my past sins and misdeeds to atone: Until now I saw red in angered explosion a pressure vessel releasing energy in motion - Until now my shadow brought me guilt and saw my childlike creative flower and genius wilt. Until now I blinded myself with adversity not experiencing or appreciating Life’s university Until now I deafened myself to voices of kind Grace seeking to find my lost way at enormous pace Until now I hated my Fathers both in Heaven, for exposing me to sins – all seven Until now I gave compassion to all in need forgetting my own child within, in word, in deed. CHAMBER OF FORTITUDE (CELEBRATING CREATIVITY BECAUSE OF WORLD ALIVE FAMILY) DEDICATED TO DEBBIE AND ANDREW. Welcome to my Chamber of Fortitude! Since 28 July 1956 there’s been steady growth. Now fifty two years later this chamber has been stimulated with awesome experience’s in order for this, a message of celebration. How often do we regress because we need to take time to step back, acknowledge, reflect and celebrate! Simple sharing is paramount, for no person is an island. “We are here because of others and others will be here because of us” in our braveheart attempt to integrate this journey to “A WORLD ALIVE “one. Come with me and list, your event and lesson, each time your chamber of fortitude developed and transformed, accumulating another room: 1. STRENGTH PHYSICAL 2. STRENGTH OF MIND 3. MORAL STRENGTH 4. FIRMNESS OF PURPOSE 5. BACKBONE 6. COURAGE 7. NERVE 8. PLUCK 9. BRAVERY 10. FEARLESSNESS 11. STOUT HEARTEDNESS 12. ENDURANCE 13. PATIENCE 14. LONG- SUFFERINGNESS 15. PERSEVERANCE 16. DETERMINATION Looking back on all 16 rooms of FORTITUDE I am comfortable with future LESSONS to come my way. It’s not the quantity of the rooms; it’s the quality in each of them.
